Inc. magazine today revealed that Passage Ticketing is No. 77 on its third annual Inc. 5000 Regionals: Midwest list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing Midwest private companies, based in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Born of the annual Inc. 5000 franchise, this regional list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the Midwest economy’s most dynamic segment–its independent small businesses.
“It’s an honor to be named among the fastest-growing companies in the Midwest for the second year in a row,” said Alex Linebrink, CEO of Passage. “We’re grateful to all our customers, partners, investors, and team members for their continued support. This is just the beginning: we’re reshaping the ticketing industry, making it better for fans and event producers alike. We’re ready to climb toward our next phase of growth. And we’re proud to be doing it here in the Midwest.”
The companies on this list show a remarkable rate of growth across all industries in the Midwest region. Between 2019 and 2021, these 203 private companies had a median growth rate of 160 percent and, in 2021 alone, they added 22,750 jobs and nearly $13.9 billion to the Midwest region’s economy. Passage moved up the list this year, jumping from No. 89 in 2022 to No. 77 in 2023.

Methodology
The 2023 Inc. 5000 Regionals are ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2019 and 2021. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2019. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2021. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2019 is $100,000; the minimum for 2021 is $1 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons.
