As part of the new partnership, Passage will operate a custom-built ticketing portal for OVPL teams

DETROIT, MICHIGAN — Passage, a cutting-edge ticketing and virtual events platform, and the Ohio Valley Premier League (OVPL), a competitive soccer circuit offering the only amateur competition throughout the tri-state (IN, KY, OH) region, announced today a new partnership which names Passage as the Official Ticketing Provider of the OVPL

As part of this partnership, Passage is providing the OVPL with a custom online portal, at Tickets.OVPLsoccer.com, available to all OVPL teams. Each team can personalize the look and feel of their team pages, which can handle ticket sales, merchandise, and concessions, both online and at-the-door on match day.

The OVPL ticketing portal also provides a one-stop shop for soccer fans looking for OVPL across the tri-state area. Driving online traffic to one central portal will help individual teams reach more fans, and will make it simpler for fans to find a game near them.

“We’re excited to be working with the OVPL,” said Alex Linebrink, CEO of Passage. “Soccer continues to grow in popularity here in the U.S., and the OVPL is one of the groups leading the charge in expanding the sport for soccer fans who are hungry for local entertainment. As things gradually start to open back up over the next few months, local entertainment, including local sports, is going to be more important than ever. For us, this partnership is all about making it simple for teams to set up and track their ticket sales and attendance, and to make the fan experience seamless both online and at-the-door.”

Helping to establish that seamless fan experience, Passage includes professional features such as assigned seating, season passes bundled ticket and merchandise packages, flex passes, and more.

The ticketing portal will be immediately available to OVPL teams. Teams will be able to choose whether to opt-in and how to customize their Passage ticketing page. The underlying technology gives them all the same level of world-class reporting and top-of-the-line support that Passage is known for.

“The OVPL is excited about this partnership with Passage,” said Jason Brown, OVPL Execute Board Member. “Their platform is a great solution for our league because it’s simple to set up, easy to manage, and cost-effective. Our goal was to eliminate some of the headaches that come with managing an amateur competitive team. Passage allows our teams to focus on cultivating great talent and giving their fans an excellent matchday experience.”

“We’re looking forward to helping #growthegame with the OVPL,” said Linebrink.

Passage powers ticketing and payments for events and attractions. Their all-in-one mobile box office technology allows event producers to take control of all their ticket, merchandise, and concession sales both online and at-the-door, all while reaching more fans and making more money.

Since 2014, Passage has completed millions of dollars in ticket and product sales for thousands of events around the world. For more information about Passage, please visit gopassage.com or contact CEO Alex Linebrink at alex@gopassage.com.
